All employees receive extensive training, orientation and continuous supervision. All must pass extensive testing including a state approved written test, an in-depth personal interview, reference checks, criminal background checks, physicals and TB screenings. All employees are fully insured according to the law of Minnesota.

EXCELLENCE THROUGH EDUCATION

At Olidia Care, we designed an integrated eLearning Platform called the Olidia Academy. With Olidia Academy, courses are built using activity modules such as: Lessons, Videos, Forums, Chat, Blogs, Quizzes, Surveys and Resources that cover key Clinical, Administrative and Human Resources policies and procedures. Every nurse must successfully complete each course to maintain her/his employment with Olidia Care.
For each training course, caregivers complete a written exam that challenges their knowledge of the material and their critical-thinking skills. In addition to the written test, nurses must demonstrate their ability to perform specific skills. .
  • Olidia Care Training Center
    At Olidia Care, we built a state of the art critical care training center in Eden Prairie, MN. We provide a wide range of training programs for caregivers of technology dependent patients
  • New Caregiver Training
    New caregivers are provided with a training program which includes extensive testing, pediatric classes, one-on-one client/family education and ongoing competency evaluations.
  • Patient Training and Certification
    Olidia Care also provide a full training and certification for patients and family caregivers.

CARE MANAGEMENT

Our Care Managers work closely with your family to build confidence, promote family involvement, improves the quality of live of our patients and fosters independence.

High Skilled Clinicians

Our case managers are all licensed Registered Nurses. The case manager will come to your home to thoroughly discuss your needs and help you arrange the best service possible.

Your case manager will visit you periodically but is also available by phone. The case manager also serves as supervisor for a group of home care aides. If ever there is a question or concern about your service, the case manager is the person to call!

At times, the case manager may even suggest other community resources that may supplement our home care service.

By providing continued quality care, we can bring families home and keep them home.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

At Olidia Care, we have a comprehensive hiring process for new caregivers .

MEET-AND-GREET
ORIENTATION

We start with an intensive interview process with clinical managers
Every aspiring nurse is required to go through a criminal background check.
New caregivers must have a previous respiratory/critical care experience or take a complete tracheostomy training program before being considered for employment with Olidia Care.

We check the caregiver’s personal and professional references.
We verify the status of their Nursing License with the State Board of Nursing to make sure it is current with no restrictions.
They must have a current CPR/Emergency/First Aid Training certificate.

During the office orientation, new caregivers are provided with a Starter Training Course that includes Infection Control, Safety, Provision and Environment of Care.

New caregivers must successfully complete the meet-and- greet interview with the client and the client family and be approved to provide care in the client home.

When the above steps are complete, new caregivers can now take part in our comprehensive on-site orientation process.
