In efforts to provide our best quality of care, our Director of Nurses or the assigned social worker monitors the care of each individual and makes regular visits to the clients home.
Yes. In most cases there is a social worker assigned to the appointed school that the child is attending, however, if that service is not available we will make the arrangements necessary to assist while your child attends school.
Olidia Care scheduling is very flexibile with care available 24 hours a day. Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients while putting them first.
In the event that an emergency may occur the Administrator and Director of Nurses is contacted immediately. Our staff is trained on a routine basis to make sure the correct procedures are taken during that time.
We are one of the first in the Home Care Industry to be totally paperless. We have computerized all our operations, including management of our current in-home cases to improve health care quality, prevent medical errors, increase efficiency, and decrease paperwork.
On average we are able to cover 96% - 100% of our cases right after discharge.

Maintaining privacy and confidentiality is very important to all of us at Olidia Care. We follow all federal and state guidelines and the only people who are able to view your information is the office personnel and caregiver assigned directly to you.
Our goal is to provide caregivers within the first 24 hours. At time's we are usually available to start that same day!
Our systems our set up to scan all employee data information on a daily basis to assure that our employees are current and up-to-date with their training and certifications. Our Human Resource Department is notified if a caregivers information is close to becoming expired.
Our goal is to establish a long-term relationship with you and your family. If you should request another caregiver for any reason, we immediately search for a match until your family is happy. We understand a strong level of trust with a caregiver is crucial to a successful home care experience which is why we encourage you to contact us immediately if you have any problems or concerns.
Yes. Olidia Care is credentialed through the Minnesota Department of Health. We hold a Class A Professional Home Care License.
Federal law dictates that a person who receives home care services has the right to recieve written information about rights in advance to receiving care. Olidia Care will provide you with a summary of patient's rights and responsibilities that are consistent with state laws.
Olidia Care assures that we will provide a high-quality, safe, and effective home care experience for you and your family. Should a problem develop or an issue or complaint occur, notify our administrator, general manager, or director of nurses. We believe in taking immediate action. You may also issue a complaint to the MN Department of Health, Medicare hot line, or the Better Business Bureau.
An important part of planning for home care is deciding how to pay for the services. We first set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing the individual's care plan to determine what kind of services will be needed. A few things that we use to determine the overall cost would be the length of time we are providing our service on a daily basis, the level of care we are providing and the area/region where the service is provided.
Our services are covered in all metro and surrounding areas.
In the event where a caregiver needs to request time off or is sick, we quickly send in a relief caregiver with similar experience to cover for the primary employee. The important thing to remember is that the client is never left alone during the time of transition.
Yes. When recieving home care services the billing usually goes to insurance. However, if you do not have insurance we are more than willing to discuss other payment options.

Most home care services are covered by Insurance or Government Programs. The following is a list of the Insurance Companies we are currently contracted with:
Medicare, VA Community Insurance, Tricare (Military), Blue Cross Blue Shield, MEDICA, WPS Insurance, Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA), Preferred One, United Health Care, CIGNA.

However, if you are not satisfied we can do our best to accommodate any requests you may have for a change in caregiver.
We carefully assess the patient and family situation right from the start so we can assign the appropriate caregiver to the client. To help build a level of trust, the same caregiver will be assigned for a particular home throughout the time of care, unless otherwise noted. We want to create a relationship with our patients and family so we can provide the most efficient and effective level of care possible.
Yes. Our family-centered care approach allows us to work closely with our families and network partners to develop the best possible plan of care for optimum clinical results.
We ensure that all caregivers are trained appropriately before taking on an assigned case. We provide a comprehensive training which is one of our top priorities. All caregivers are required to go through an ongoing competency evaluation that includes a problem solving session to determine the caregiver's response to challenging situations. New caregivers are provided with a training program which includes extensive testing and pediatric classes.
